This assignment contains a proposal for my graduation study. Because I am currently attending the Real Estate and Housing master I will shortly describe the highlights of my proposal according to the RE&H standards instead of using the FutureImpact program, which is mainly focused on a graduation study within the Architecture master.

A research on the influence and possibilities of the experience economy on the Dutch housing market
Research questions
The main question of the research is:
Is the implementation of the factor ‘experience’ considered as an added value on the housing market and could a project developer charge an additional fee for an ‘experience dwelling’?
To be able to answer te main research question, the questions below should be answered first:
- What is the Experience Economy? And how did it come into being?
- Is the Experience Economy a temporary or an everlasting phenomena?
- What are the developments and criticism on the current housing market?
- Is the addition of the factor ‘experience’ necessary in the current housing market?
- How is the factor ‘experience’ currently being integrated in the Dutch housing market?
- Is the implementation of the factor ‘experience’ considered as an added value by the (future) inhabitant(s) of a housing project?
- Is the consumer prepared to pay an additional fee for an ‘experience dwelling’?
Hypotheses
The hypotheses stated below will be tested during the graduation research:
- The implementation of the ‘experience’ factor will increase the appreciation of its (future) resident(s).
- A consumer on the Dutch housing market is prepared to pay an additional fee for a housing project which has implemented the ‘experience’ factor.
